Black Mountain - South-West Aerial

Black Mountain lies west of the city centre and rises 256m above the water level of Lake Burley Griffin. A quick elevator ride up Black Mountain Tower will take you a further 195m above the summit. Black Mountain Reserve is part of Canberra Nature Park and is home to a variety of wildlife and plant species that can be explored through marked walking trails that cross the mountain.
